Dr. Fox joined the ACGME in 2019 and is the Executive Director for the Review Committees for Plastic Surgery, Surgery, and Thoracic Surgery. Before joining the ACGME, she held positions as the Director of Education and Faculty Development in Anesthesiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Director of Graduate Medical Education with Wipfli, LLP, and as a medical educational specialist for both undergraduate and graduate medical education programs throughout the United States. She has researched and presented on topics including defining and researching success (and the ability to predict performance) in medical school/residency, and examining the effectiveness of evaluations and interventions.
Dr. Fox holds a doctoral degree in educational leadership and policy analysis with a focus on quantitative educational research from the University of Missouri-Columbia, a Master’s degree in applied linguistics from Iowa State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in English/history from Mount Allison University in Canada.
