To enhance access to climate-related resources for GME, the editors of JGME have issued a Call for Papers on Climate and GME to be collected in a supplemental issue to be published in late 2024.

In the poster “Bolstering the Rural Physician Workforce in Underserved Communities: Are Rural Residency Planning and Development Programs Finding the Sweet Spot?” Emily M. Hawes, PharmD and her team used data about existing rural residency programs to identify potential sites for future programs. Dr. Hawes answered our questions on behalf of her team.

Dr. Jose E. Colón Cortés answered the ACGME’s questions on behalf of the team behind the poster, “Physician Comfort on Evaluating Patients with Disabilities in a Hospital in the Southern Region of Puerto Rico: A Quality Improvement Project,” presented at the 2023 ACGME Annual Educational Conference.
